The celebration of Eastern plants & Western animals.

Materials - Plants





  • Gathering these plants from Taiwan, which named Arega Engleri Beccari, Matsum fibre, banana fibre, pineapple fibre, ramie, loofah, millet , hemp... and so on. 


How can the juxtaposition of material and culture inform a new textile craft?

    Exploring the possibility of transforming these oriental plant fibres into innovative textiles by combining the transformed fabrics with animal fur, which come from western countries.

    The objective of the cross cultural approach is to creat a link between the east and west cultures also give a new aesthtic and value to the natural materials with a contemporary approach.
